Baby Max

We can't wait to meet you baby Max!

More Weekend Fun

We had a great weekend in Traverse City and we ended it with a swim at Granny and Papa's pool. Jenna is becoming quite the little fish! But she has no fear so we have to watch her super close because she like to try and take her swimmies off like sissy.
Taylor finally got the nerve to take a leap off the diving board. Of course only with her best friends Blake an Bryce watching.
While we camping Brad and I took the girls to sleeping bear dunes. After taking several pictures of the girls Taylor wanted to take our picture too.

Girls on top of the dune climb overlooking beautiful Lake Glenn.

We also took a scenic tour and climbed the dune to overlook at Lake Michigan. This was beautiful, but very winding and you felt like if you slipped you might all over a cliff!

Jenna really is trying to ride her bike like Taylor but she still can't quite get the hang of peddling.

The first night on the beach Taylor made friends with several ducks, she thought this was super cool until one snipped at her finger and scared the crap out of her.

Earlier on the beach Taylor was taking in some sand castle lessons from Brian!

Last Monday I went to Michigan adventure with 40+ people from work and Taylor enjoyed a day in the water park and got to ride several roller costars.

Mimi and the girls saying good bye and thank you!
At the end of the night Jenna was so tired, but we wanted to get a picture of her by the cupcake. We have gotten one every year, but she would only go near it if I was holding her.

Jenna had a great birthday. Thank you so much for all the gifts. We had a wonderful night with the family.

Pure Michigan!

This past weekend we spent 4 days at Tahquamenon Falls State Park. Despite some not so nice weather we had a great time. We did a little hiking, biking, and spent lots of time with our favorite family and friends. It really is beautiful in the UP. We wish had some better weather and more time to visit more of the attractions. On Friday we took the kids to Oswald's Bear Farm where we got to see several bears and even pet a cub who is 6 months old.

Little ham Jenna.
Some of these bears were huge!

Lower Falls

Upper Falls

On the day we visited the Upper Falls it rained all morning and then when is was actually starting to warm up we decided to go out to lunch at the Brewery and then hike to the falls. We made it about half way and found ourselves stuck in a thunderstorm. So here is our wonderful group soaking wet! We had a great time and lots of laughs getting here. And we will never forget this trip.

We rode our bike a lot and Jenna got to take a ride in the bike trailer with Lance on our way to see the lower falls.

All the kids on the path to the lower falls. What a group! All the kids were really good and had a great time playing together this weekend.

Our family hiking to the falls. You can barely see Jenna peaking out from the backpack. There are so many paths through the woods, if it wasn't so rainy we would have been able to do so much more. Plus the mosquito's were terrible. We even had to go buy more bug spray!
